During the mid 80's there were 2 things that you needed when going to an Arcade, a $10 roll of quarters and a buddy to deposit them whenever "Your Life Force is Running Out" came out ot the Gauntlet game.
I always got really happy when a new Maze started and the narrator would say, "Your Shots Now Hurt Other Players!"
Hell Yeah!!
Time to get revenge on that stoopid Elf who kept hogging the food. Time to spank that Valkyrie who kept shooting the Potions and totally time to shut up that know-it-all Wizard who kept trying to tell you what to do!
Everyone is About to DIE!!
In this game there is not working together, it's every player for themselves. There are 4 Mazes that connect to each other via the Exit. Each player starts with the same character in each Maze and get's 10 units in each.
Bonuses are written on the map. A player gets a bonus for controling their character icon on the Maze along with the Treasure, Food and/or Potion. Each player gets different bonuses for different objects based on the character. Warrior gets +7 for Food but only +3 for the potion. Valkyrie get's +5 for any of them.
Note: Bonuses are per Maze so controling the Elf and Treasure in the Yellow Maze will not give you a bonus for controling the Elf in the Green Maze.
The Neckless has View Only borders to every space on that Maze so you can see through the fog. This map was made prior to the enhancement of the View Only Borders and at this time it is not possible to have 2 border types so the direct Adjacent territories to the Neckless will only be able to see who owns the territory, not the unit counts.
4 Fortifies per turn to bordering territories.
