I'm a big fan of this one, although I hadn't appreciated the benefits of North America as mentioned by the comment below....

Fun twist! I thought the large build up of armies might lead to a stalemate, but it didn't in either of my games.

I knock my rating down 1 star for balance though.
North America is overpowered: Units build up internally at a high pace, and its bonus is better than Europe.

To compare the 2, if we look at a situation where player 1 holds NA and player 2 holds Europe: Player 1 will get a total of 47 units on his turn (33 from factories + 14 unit bonus). Player 2 on the other hand will get 33 units on his turn (20 from factories + 13 unit bonus). Player 2 would be fooled if he thought there was anything close to parity between him and Player 1.

After analyzing, it makes sense that in both my games the player who took North America ended up winning.

Awesome twist on the classic map. Great for spreading discord and forcing creative strategy.

very creative "take" on the classic board. i rather enjoy the card scale and the elimination bonus, but I'm a big fan of elimination bonuses! more wiggle room than the og as your armies can amass more quickly. i had a blast in a team tournament recently, and thought the non team transfer was a great twist. throw your weight around when inertia hits

Very interesting strategy board. Countries with many borders, which can be hard to defend in traditional Risk, are the ones that accumulate the most armies, so are premium ones to obtain early on. Continents are still very valuable, but you can't use normal Risk strategy here. Great team game.

This board really makes you think, moreso than most I've seen. Its unique method of accumulating armies will challenge your preconceptions about how to play Risk and make you re-examine your approach to the game. Very fascinating. Great for groups and small teams.

This map is very challenging. I find that it rewards aggressive & disruptive play (i.e. better to disrupt other player bonuses vs consolidating your own bonuses) and good timing. I'm really enjoying this board

Very much like the change in how troops accumulate. Forces a different type of game play. Patience is definitely required, as waiting for the right time to pounce can quickly give you the game considering the elimination bonuses.

I thought this was great fun...card scale is novel...need to play it more, but I suspect different tactics are required

I have tried the board twice. I like the change army build up. It has a good change from the other war gear games. I don't like the painter and ladder in the board. Fun change. try it.

I need to give this another shot. I read up on it and was all ready for battle, but then got completely demolished at the very beginning.

I really enjoy this board. Its a super well balanced variation on the original game and the Anarchy theme is well thought out and applied. Graphically solid, gameplay solid, and fun to boot!

Fun for team games, and incredibly creative. i still may never fully grasp all the strategy behind it, but i'm sure that there's one out there that'll lead to a better chance of winning.

This is a truly novel rule modification to the classic game. Gameplay is chaotic and even after reading the rules several times it took me a couple games to internalize the dynamics. It pushes players steeped in the standard rules to think differently. New strategies emerge (I'm still wrapping my head around them) and I'm particularly enjoying it as a team game. Bottom line, this is a superb board.

A fun, unique twist to the risk dynamic. Although initially you might presume you would have to attack quickly before the numbers escalate, but it really often turns into a good game of patience. Making strategic gains to certain territories that can accumulate an extra player each round is really beneficial. Really enjoy this board.

I love this game - it seems to me that you have a slight disadvantage in going first too, which is a pleasant change.
