Started another Tree Of Life, with Heavy Fog this time:
Abishai:
I love KOM, so would definitely join a game on that board
What's the board this month? I'll send you a PM
Hey guys, sorry for the delay! I hope you have been enjoying some sweet ToL games this past month. Try to rate and review the board if you can (I still need to do mine). AfroDaby has recently joined the group and will be assigned the number 14.
The random number for this month was 9, so weathertop will have the honors of picking a board. I'm ready for another awesome month of BRG action!
I've rated a bunch of board in the last few days, as per M57's request, and will check back in tomorrow to see what new board's been picked
I went back and looked at what I favorited early on. I haven't nearly kept up with marking as I really should (but then again, I really should do a lot more on here...hehe). Two boards that stuck out like a sore thumb (read: i haven't seen a game on either of these in forever), Capture the Flag and Dungeon.
With this astute group of players, and the possibility of GOOD team games on it, I'm going with Dungeon.
Wow, haven't seen nor heard of this map before. Go ahead and create a game and post the link and we can get started.
Here's one (4-player, 1-day-turns) game I'm hosting:
4 palyer:

8player (4 teams)

This map is really fun so far! I started another team game (link below). It seems that the unit placement is based on the seat number and doesn't deviate from how it is shown on the map description. Can anyone confirm this? If so it is best if seat 1 and 5 are on team 1, seat 2 and 6 are on team 2 and so on so that your units are concentrated around your partners starting position.
yes that is the case, 1-4 get cell blocks, partners have to free them.
I know that. My question is regarding the unit placement for seats 5 through 8. It seems that the unit placement is fixed but in a way that is only beneficial if you are teamed up with your corresponding seat. Example, seat 5's units will be more concentrated around seat 1's cell. Them being on a team is a huge advantage. This is what I wanted confirmed.
Check the board for how it shows the initial unit set up . This is what I think is fixed.
Hi everyone! It's time to start another month with a new board for the BRG. BTDubs was randomly selected this month to pick the new board to be played.
I choose Resource! Looks like a fun, underplayed board.
I've started an 8-player game, medium fog: http://www.wargear.net/games/join/456659
Sweet, thanks BTdubs!
Hi everyone, it is time to pick a new board for September! I noticed a lot of people were not too active in the group this last month, but it was a busy month for me as well. Anyways IRsmart was randomly selected to spearhead this next month of the BRG.
Again, I'm open to anything you guys want to do. You can start a game, try out different settings, create a tournament, etc.
How did everyone like resource? I didn't get into that game? Anyone want to play one with me?

I got into one of the games started on this board recently. Always fun to check out my stats on a board and see 'last played: 2010'

The one resource game that got started (I think) is just moving from the early game into the mid-game I'd say.
