Is the site slow lately?  I find it to be so, and I have talked with a couple of players experiencing the same.  Please give me your input....  THANKS

It's always slow at 10AM CET. I assume it's a scheduled update at that time. Often 11AM CET too. A couple of minutes where you can't do anything.

Apart from that I haven't noticed too much slowness. Occasional lag, yes. Probably more than usual. But not overly so. Not for my login times anyway.

I've noticed it slow in the evenings for me (USA mountain time) sometimes.  In the past Tom has done "something" and it has made a big difference in the site time.  Could be if this is some sort of regular maintenance, he could do it again and get us back up to speed.

Yeah, it does seem slow these days, but it's almost never zippy, so it's hard to quantify.

I think Tom periodically refreshes the logging (which would clear the cache), among other things.

Agreed, "Waiting for www.Wargear.net" has become a thing again.

Yes, it has been slower than normal lately.  I usually play at 9PM  EST U.S.  Really  delayed. 

6AM EST Nice and fast. I alway thought Tom used 5-6AM for recalculating stats, etc.  Maybe he moved it.

Never really bothers me. Board games are meant to be slow

It's pretty much always slow for me too.

It's been slow for the last 2 to 3 weeks for me, but I wonder how much of that is due to the internet traffic going thru the roof.

No idea, I'm afraid. I'm not good on the technical stuff. Just making observations. For me it's slower in the evenings than mornings/days. It's not lightning in the rest of the day either, but OK. So I try not to do too many turns in the evenings.

Not like we’re in a hurry to run out and do something.

For me it's getting really bad.  The site is half loading and unplayable at times.  Its noon now Eastern Time.  I loaded my games list it took like 5 minutes and only loaded the list of the first two games, the rest didn't load.  

I hope theres a way to fix it.  It's just here, every other site loads just fine and quickly for  me.

I've noticed significant lags, as well. Particularly this morning, around 9am PST.

One interesting thing about today is that I got signed out and then some of my Account preferences reset to defaults...which seems odd.
