I do like default Risk maps, because I played it on a physical board when I was younger, but I find that I like some of the user-created maps more. In particular, I like the U.S maps, the Europe maps, and there's one coming up that Aiken Drumn started (http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Middle+East/About#tabs-1.+Normal) that looks really fun.

The first map seems a bit boring to me (no offense), but I would definitely like to try the other two! I guess I'll start by opening up a "Simple World" map, whenever one of my current games closes. Also, here's to hoping I don't somehow quadruple post!

You can also try one of my two ‘simplistic’ maps - Silmarillion and Two Towers. They play simply, even though they might not look it. 😉

No one's posted since forever, but really, I've got nothing much to say. Can we get some Romanian Rumble and Texas tournaments going? Anyone?

I'll try to get a Texas one started soon. Just reached out to the board designer to get team transfer added to the map. Wanted to see if he would do that then I'd start a team Texas tourney.
