anyone got thoughts?
BTW, yes it's definitely Steampunky enough. It really is gorgeous. Where do you find these? The layers seem all but customized for this site.

I'm not sure where I got this one (side note, I'm trying to go find the source images so I can maybe at least put a mention in the board description of the original source). But I know I spent quite some time trying to tweak it to fit for a board.
M57 wrote:I thnk that image looks great, and game play seems pretty straight ahead. I suppose you could have some objects that give extra bonuses, but I think I would keep it simple - with no fancy mods and divide things up into five or six buildings as continents with four to ten territories in each.
I'm struggling to determine if I can cut out areas well enough to make them territories that can attack each other intuitively. not much room for clarification arrows and such.
Airship Pirates found! BOOM!
got the large one:

Got the basics done on the large one, anyone want to take a look-see/play and talk shop?
Sure.....I'm down
I don't know anything about board designing. But count me in for all the dev playing.
yep
Key bump
I want in
i haven't had time to play with mine in the last couple months. work has been hell.
September is coming up fast...
Looks like Kurron will win the extra 100 bucks again
As much fun as some free money would be, what about if we changed the contest to one that has more participants?
Maybe just all boards released in 2020?
That would open things up for Kjeld and my new map designs. +1 by me.
It’d be nice to donate the money to fund 5 (for 6 months) or 10 (for a quarter) premium to some of our old friends to try to lure them back to playing on the site. ie - Gimli, Wallace, Toaster, INAT, SquintGnome, smoke, Oatworm, Wedge, etc.
Is there a 2020 Competition?
Not sure. I would submit my Two Towers and DnDOpoly (which I ‘should’ have named DungeonOpoly) designs if there is one. Who else has recent designs that have went live or are in active development?
Still a few tweaks here and there, but my Electoral College board should be live by then.
