Board Description

The Scenario: You find yourself in the heat of a massive dogfight where the middle of the board is evenly peppered with 36 scattered squadrons of 3 planes each. This means that in a game of five players you each start with 9 squadrons and a total of 27 planes in an active dog-fight. You also get an additional 9 planes pre-positioned for maximum coverage of your home airspace.

Your Mission: Take out your opponents by destroying their airfields.

  • 7v6 Attack dice. Because the most you can attack with is 2 (max unit count of 3 applies to each territory), 2v2 attacks become even battles. Abandon is on.
  • Your airfield is also a fighter factory and sole source of production. You are able to produce 1 fighter per turn, which you can place only on your airfield.
  • You are limited to 7 attacks and unlimited "contiguous" fortifies per turn.
  • Take an opponent's base and 50% of their airforce will defect to you. The rest will all turn in their wings and become crop-dusters (which will defend themselves if attacked, of course!).
