This game is player with a hordes bonus, return to attack, and return to place. Cards are 5,6,7,8,9 cycling.

Pokeballs attack to respective pokemon, and are worth +1.

Pokemon attack to eachother (artillery) with modified dice, marked on map, and are worth +4.

Pokemon attack to specific areas of the map corresponding to the pokemon they have an advantage against.

Each pokeball attacks it's closest pokemon with 6v6 dice, and every other pokemon with 6v8 dice, so once you attack a pokemon with yours, you may capture it with your pokeball.
