I'm just going to assume that you read one of the other 3 times I've reviewed this map just to have it deleted. This is an AWESOME map and may be close to flawless gameplay. Sure, Europe is boring but even that can be forgiven in this case.
Potentially Cramchakle's best board. It's incredibly well done, looks good, plays well and has just enough of a twist to make it non-standard. Well done.
Brilliant. A simple concept taken to the extreme of elegance, allowing for complex and unique gameplay. Works with many different numbers of players, and the strategical and tactical complexity abounds. I have yet to figure out the best way to beat this board, which means it's an achievement.
As always, Cramchakle paves the way in map making with an innovative new use of capitols to "level up" their associated continents.
Gameplay is deceptively simple, with more subtlety than many players realize. Grabbing a super-continent is critical for the win, but be careful not to set yourself up for an easy elimination!
The gameplay is excellent. The special board feature of castles adds an interesting twist to standard Risk without making the play feel too quirky. The special rules are summarized clearly on the board itself.
Graphics-wise, the board is beautiful, and only a semi-transparent overlay would improve its look. (Note: the overlay feature is not yet available to board designers, so I'll just have to look forward to a graphics update.)
Terrific. Graphics are great, the application of the castles/capital idea is perfect, and it's balanced. Makes for very fun and strategic games that don't drag on endlessly and reward skilled and practiced players.
