This is a fun board to play. There are tough rolls and no so tough (at times). Card trade in is fair and I like the graphics on this one!!! It reminds me of going to Great America as a kid and spending time at the shooting gallery!!! Thanks for the great memories. Great board!!!
I really enjoy this board. I played it with and without the update and see the appeal of both versions. Would still like to play it the way prior to the update, and since the update haven't played it as much. I think prior to the update you sometimes had a chance to keep playing after you eliminated just one player or if desired play somewhat defensively, so would like to see the old version added as a different version of the board.
The updated version offers a lot more ways to win and really leverages the fog well.
I love this board, and I love it even more now that it has been updated. It visually stunning, lots of fun, and there are several different ways to win... and lose. It always feels like I have a sporting chance, I'm directly engaged with the other players in a battle of wits, and the dice routinely ruin my day - but never to the point that I'm gonna lose!
I really like this board's concept and idea. However, maybe i just can't quite grasp it because even after several games, i still feel somewhat lost about exactly what everything does and about strategy. Sure is a great idea though, and i've enjoyed my games on it!
Amazing graphics, amazing fill, great strategy, and enjoy that it's always a 3 way battle. Suggestion: maybe adjust the bonuses up a bit just so there is more ebb and flow of attacks. Make it swing just a little bit more so there's not as much of a chance for stagnation.
I really enjoy this board! So different from the norm. Having a 3-way game is also very rare. You have to know what's going on and not get caught up fighting with one player, else the other player will win! The graphics are very cool, but it is hard to see what you are shooting at from time to time.
I've played it a few times and can see a few different approaches working (however, depending on what your opponents do in any given game, not all approaches are available to use and win with).
I think the Old Crow is overvalued by a lot of players - if it took 1 off everyone's bonus each turn, that would make it more valuable, but as it is now, it only eliminates a unit if you have 2 or more in your coin box at the start of the turn.
I love this board visually and the idea behind it is great. I do think with the heavy fog it is relatively easy to get caught up in a battle with one player over a set of territories and lose sight of what the 3rd player may be up to. I guess that is all part of the strategy though.
