Interesting idea. Unfortunately adding dice seems to have diminished the strategic appeal of Hex.

While this board looks similar to Hex it plays like a different board. Especially the Fully Geared version. While Amidon's Hex is 100% skill this board doesn't have that much involved when it comes to skill. If you are in position to win, watch out the board can turn on you quickly. Personally not a fan.
