I think Cram or someone brought this up before, but max of 16 players seems thievish :p. Seems like it could be rounded up to 20. Would potentially be a long time to fill up and play, but could be cool and provides more options for Teams.
You come up with 20 different colors! Ever wonder why I barely ever make maps for above 6 players? That's why!

Oh ya...
Colors with textures! Or Colors with Colored numbers! (I think suggested by EN, both of these could help but they could also be very horrible too :p)

textured colors on a dual layer map with a textured transparency over the fill might induce seizures.
Imagine Old World Gear with 20 player colors. :0
Is 20 players really going to provide much benefit? Seems like 16 player games drag on as it is...
I think someone would have to see some compelling designs before wanting to up the limit from 16 to 20.

They won't with simulplay ..or whatever we're going to end up calling it.
Personally, I'd like to see a 16 player game actually finish with 16 players before we start fiddling with this one.
I... can't find anything wrong with this line of reasoning...
