One more question about this :)

Starting Cards, do those come out of the initial "deck" or are those separate?  For example, if Cards are set to 14/14/14/2 and Starting Cards sets Player 2 with 1 Wild card, will the first card deck be 14/14/14/1, or will it remain 14/14/14/2 (2 Wilds available for random distribution)?  I'm assuming (and I think hoping) it's the latter, that Starting Cards are distributed outside of the Deck, but want to be sure.

This is a fun thread, let's revive it a bit :P

So it looks like currently new boards the Colors tab will not have Seat Numbers associated to the default 16 colors, which is a bit okay I think (although different from how it used to work), but if you select Rules and set to Setup based then it looks like the Colors tab gets a bit wacky... the default 16 colors are removed and only 1 row with Sky Blue is present and team name is set to "undefined" (instead of blank) with Starting Bonus set to 0 (instead of Default).  Doesn't seem like that tab should really be updated with the Rule change.

ah i thought that was done on purpose so designers could save their 'palate'. but i couldn't find an import/export colors from another of my boards...

good to know that i was annoyed for a good reason (that being a bug)! :^)

Looks like a save and reload when you first create the board fixes it, but agree it is a bug that has probably been there a while.

And somehow the Starting Bonus will revert to 0 for Colors (seemingly Randomly) rather than sticking Default.

Bug related to the Colors tab:

Create a new color, Starting Bonus is Default (correctly), Save board, exit and re-enter board, Starting Bonus for that color is now 0 (incorrectly).
