Just wanted to let you know that lightning games with more than 2 or 3 players are unlikely to fill while you wait because it can take hours to fill them and then additional hours to play them.

As a first time player (on this site), I would recommend that you start or join a regular 2-day per move game.  You'll find that with 3-4 players in the game you'll likely be making a move or 2 per day, though play on weekends can be slower.

then when you get to know some people who are willing to play real-time, you can get those going as well :)
