WGLib is a python module that can be used to create, load, manipulate, and save WarGear maps.
If you want to see an example of what it can be used for, I have used this code to create two (as of yet unpublished) maps:

The code is in decent shape, but not perfect. I would be happy to help anyone get started using it (and with using python in general) if they are interested.

Ozyman, this is AWESOME! Unfortunately I think that the coding of it would actually take me longer and give me more opportunities to screw up than the monkey work of just clicking around. I will try it if I ever get an idea for a map that I like again.

Thanks for the kind words. I figure there was probably < 50% chance that anyone else would want to use this, but since I had it written, I thought I should make it available. I mostly wanted an excuse to get more familiar with python and related technologies.
