looking to resize 54 .pngs to be 85% of their orginal size. any way to batch this instead of opening them one by one?

i think i might have an OOOOOLD copy on my old PC...
There is a program on downloads.com called pngCrusher or something that you just drag and drop them into the program. I only looked at it for a little bit when I used to have to get stuff down to 100kb (500kb actually, but don't tell anyone).

i need to get them all down in size so i can fit them onto a reasonable sized board!
from the sound of it, it would probably be easier to combine them all into one image and then resize that image. goto getpaint.net to get Paint.Net. it's free and has a whole slew of photoshop like capabilities. layering, filters, etc...
Ummmm, 54 images to make 1 board?!

Irfanview will do what you are looking for (and it's free):
File->Batch Conversion/Rename
It's pretty easy to use, but feel free to ask me if you run into any questions.
If you don't have photoshop, you can use IrfanView. Here's a help page on batch conversions, including resizing:

yeah 54 images...i'm making a sequence board, and have a full deck (well two, i believe) to resize because i was unable to find a shot of the actual board that was usable.
and i resized them all by hand - yes i use paint.net also.

Fun. I've played many games of Sequence - and Sequence for Kids.
kewl, i'll call on you to test it then!
i think i've even got a way to incorporate the jacks (using the cards), but i'm still trying to figure out the end-game...i started out by thinking a variation of Nygma's Space lines might work, but with up to 12 players i don't know...
early stages show it may actually come together with a bit more time:
