A handy tip to speed up your gameplay experience - the following keyboard shortcuts are available in the Player:
Attack Mode
T: Attack with all units and automatically transfer all units if the attack is successful
A: Attack with all units
1-9: Attack with this number of units
Fortify / Transfer Mode
0-9: Fortify / Transfer with this number of units
Enjoy!
Can we get shortcuts for the placement phase? Perhaps 0-9 (or 1-10, but that may be confusing for some), A for place all, and then one to go to the attack phase (S for example). :)

I don't know how this stands from a code standpoint, but I often have had many armies on a spot, and only wanted to attack another country down to 1 or 2 armies, without taking it! ie. you want to exploit attacker advantage but not open up an army behind the one you are attacking - or you have two armies and don't want the first army you are attacking with to go through due to a fluke of the dice.

Mmm good point. An attack with all you have until the enemy is at 1 or 2 then stop would be useful in a few circumstances.
I also do that often and typically just hit 3 over and over again until it gets close :P. I would not mind having a shortcut for it though...
