It should be possible to play WG boards in real-time ..without the wait, regardless of how many are playing.
It appears Tom has unloosed the chains of sluggishness!

Great. Actually it was just a single rogue SQL query chewing up the processor time on a regular basis.
I've got some other performance improvements coming shortly.

Wait, wait, wait....let me get this straight?
We mentioned a small issue....and you actually found and fixed the problem?
And found 2 or 3 other issues, and are fixing them too?
That's unheard of in the IT industry.You better stop overachieving, because you're making the rest of us look incompetent.

No problem at all this stuff is much easier to fix with the aid of good timing reports.

Two Eyes for An Eye, The Jaw for A Tooth
It was working fine since you fixed it Tom. But this morning, it's terrible again. 3 minutes to end my turn for example (9:13 in Brussels).

Every Tuesday 3-5am EST the database backup runs. It's about the best time I could find globally when the site is quiet but unfortunately there's always someone on!
