Hey guys, I'm new to this site but not new to this game - I've played online risk style games for years.

I've developed a Conan Barbarian themed map that I would like to upload to the site, how do I go about it?

I just found some other maps I've designed - futuristic style maps which I need some ideas for if you guys are willing to help out the new guy - or fish as it were in prison

Welcome to the site... I'm not a designer myself but there are a lot that of them here. Enjoy and good luck.

Click help (along the top), then 'designing boards' along the left for the basics.

quick version - click 'designs', create new board (choose a name), then in the board designer, click upload board image.  Borders, continents, etc. are added/modified under the design tab.

If you are coming from ToS (TheOtherSite), I think you'll really appreciate how much better the map designer is here.  Also, we have the concept of 'dev' games, which the map-maker can modify mid-game.  No more convincing everyone to vote to end just so you can fix a border.

Also, we are having map design contests 3x a year.  The current theme is 'The Old West/Westerns'  If you are very quick and can get one finished the deadline is Dec 31.  Another contest will start soon after that (we will be voting on the theme for the next one soon).  Tom puts up $100 for prize money for each map making contest.

i the DEV tester help sticky in this forum there are a list of those willing to help with DEV games/ideas.

How can I show you a preview?

Click on the "Designs" option.  From there, "create new game" -- then upload an image - You might be about to figure it out from there. If not, cut and paste the url, which will look something like this..
