We've got enough players who do what they can to cheat the rules, the idea of someone getting a second account to circumvent the fog rules seems far too enticing.
Unless you're just talking about the review games, in which case I could get behind that idea.
But for public fog games, I don't like this idea.
i'd say allowing review board this ability on Review games is a great - and interesting - idea (*maybe*as an option in other DEV games - but i thought i heard tom say something about new abilities for DEV games with the new player). i don't see it being a good idea for anything else.
the 'top has spoken.
Here's an updated thought on the fog idea=
In review games give non-player, review board members the ability to chose to see the board as a player in the game. This may be better (and easier) than erasing all the fog - This may also be useful for board creators in dev games -

This is a more restricted version of my idea: letting viewers choose any seat - (and even move around if they like)
i think they're saying the same thing
Oops, looks like I got my idea from M's post and then gave myself credit for it -
Weekends will do that to you. Especially rainy-cold ones where you do a lot of playing Resident Evil 5 with your teen son.
I'll just put in my +1 for allowing reviewers not in the game to look in on fogged review games -- would often be nice to have more feedback and commentary than from just the few members in the actual game.
It looks like more reviewers are needed. i've had a board sitting waiting for players for some time. (Or maybe it's just my board is being avoided.)
Since there is no formal process I'll start the nominations - BlackDog and Hugh
Also - asm, Alpha, Mongreal and AdamN appear to have been MIA for awhile. Candidates for removal?
I second BD and Hugh. I hope they are up for it.
I nominate Cona Chris, CK66, Livia and WestBeast510. These are all active players who have been on the site for over a year and have given me constructive criticism. I will let them know that I have nominated them here, so they can chime in with their desires.
How many review games is a reviewer typically in at a given time? If it's a small number, then I am willing and able to be on the board. I've played a lot with all those that Oz mentions, so I second those nominations.
I get invited to around 2-4 games a week, and I would guess I'm usually in about 5 review games at a time, but you can decline as many as you want. Even if you only joined one review game a month it would be helpful.
i'm willing to help. although i'm not sure i would be a good canidate.
I'm willing to help out if needed.
You don't need to be in every review game. I generally am in 2-3 at a time.

I can handle that.
I can help out as well.
I can help out too.

Based upon your 2404 games you've played, I would say you have the requisite experience.
I haven't been in more than 2 at a time.
I'm game. I've got lots of opinions about everything, just ask my husband.
Thanks all for volunteering, it's much appreciated. I've added Hugh, j-bomb, CK66, Cona Chris, Livia, WestBeast510 to the Review Board.
It's very much up to you how many games you review - if you're busy there's certainly no obligation to participate in all the review games.
