So... anyone working on this one? I've got an idea, but it's not too exciting.
I found this pretty cool video of how legos are made. An animated lego factory:

Could be workable if someone wants to screenshot it and turn it into a map. I'm not going to.
Also, that CAD program that Amidon posted would be good for designing your own something:
I thought of doing a lego rockband board, with the notes coming down being territories or something, but I couldn't find a good screenshot.
I am, but my idea too is not that exciting. I'm having a hard time making it work..
I had like a million ideas for boards, and things, and starting working on them, but realized: to get what I wanted, I would either have to build it and take a picture of it, or piece some images together to get what I need. It's been a challenge.
Check these ones out. I think that's so cool.

Can you enter that last one into Lego and Escher?
I don't know... I haven't done anything with it... for exactly that reason. It's ambiguous.
Looks like there is another virtual lego builder available:
I had a lego/peg-themed board from the old warfish site called Pego Island. How lame would it be if I brought that one over?
not lame at all?
Anyone working on a LEGO board beside me?
I miss Board Designing, but haven't had as deep of a spark or idea in a while and slightly less time to creating too.
I've been really swamped lately too, but I do have a lego board on the go...
I'd put it in development, but it's ugly at the moment.
I was working on one... but I realized it has nothing to do with LEGO, it just looks like there are LEGOs on the map... Might make it anyway, just might not submit it.
meh. IMO, at this point any connection no matter how tenuous is good enough. The competitions are a lot more fun when there are more maps involved.
Can I get a hand with mine?

Yay! I've been waiting for Ed to enter a competition!

me too! your board has every right to be in it to win it! it is exactly what it should be. i think this one was really hard to pull off.
i would like to throw out sport theme as the next competition i think it would be awsome to see what would come of that.!

I think whatever we choose as the next theme, it needs to be something relatively simple that has lots of easy potential. Dr. Seuss & Lego (& maybe Escher) I think sound like awesome ideas, but when you get down to it, they are difficult to make maps from.
When is this one due?
