It's really just to show that the post was edited in the past so when a post changes mysteriously the poster can't deny that it was edited. However you don't necessarily want people to be able to view your original post.

I'm not too sure the Search thing works either, I tried searching Yertle (as a Keyword) and came up empty (Doom has used Yertle in a post) and same for WF.

Can't find the other thread, but when it comes to the unread posts features, I also noticed that the numbers don't count the OP. A minor complaint, but still :P.

Some forum changes - again thanks for suggestions:

• Dropped timelimit between posts and searches (still a 30s spam limit between creating new threads)
• When creating a new thread and you enter the Title, if you Tab that should take you to the message box, not to the Post/Cancel buttons
• Jump to post when posting message now works properly

Yertle - I'm not going to implement your suggestion to automatically add the text from the QuickReply area into the Full Editor when you click the button, it will take major jigging to achieve, sorry.

What are your thoughts on changing the style of the forum and thread lists Tom (or do you prefer Kobra/KK?)? I'd much prefer to be able to tell if a thread has unread posts by just looking at or next to the thread title instead of having to look at the right side of the page and have to extrapolate back to the thread title.

Also, can we have a button to mark all posts in a forum as read? =)

I am definitely going to add an unread/read icon as a few people have mentioned that. Not so sure about a button, I'll see how that works out.

other than no 'threaded' view option; i still think that the WF forum setup is one of the best i've ever seen/used. it has everything (with the exception of threaded view, but i rarely use that type unless there's something long and complicated).

don't be afraid to mirror as much as you want/can!

Noted.  Shouldn't really be that big of a problem anyhow.

Can you box off the Quote information in a message so that it is easier to see in the Reply (in addition to it being tabbed or centered as it already is).

looking better tom! you getting tired yet? i'm astounded at the amount of crap you've been getting to everyday. stunned really!

how about a 'new!' indication on the messages since last i visited? i see you've got a button supposed to take you to the most recent unread, but its not working yet (not sure if you knew this or not); so something like this could help.

oh and can you add the new message icon thingy to the top level Forum List also?
