If I try to placed fewer than my alloted number, I can't click "apply." If I place fewer than my allotted number and then click the "attack" phase, the placed units disappear.

It works in Cram's Infection map, I believe.

This is fixed in the new version of the Player asm. Let me know if you have any further problems.

I eliminated a player and received their cards, which put me over the Maximum amount of Cards and I was forced to turn in (which I shouldn't have been forced with Return to Placement On either), and now I can't skip to the Attack stage without placing my units.

That one should also be fixed now thanks Yertle.

Note that you are still forced to trade the cards straight away, however as you have to do this at some stage during your turn when you have exceeded the card limit I don't think this is a bug, just a slightly different way of ordering your behavior.
