Yeah! It is such a pain to have to posterize over and over to get the file size down, and then when you decide to edit something to have to go back and do it again. Speaking for myself, it's not so much about quality as it is convenience. 2MB should be adequate for most reasonable board sizes.. Thanks Tom!
M, do you use paint.net? If so, check out the optipng plugin. Very powerful file size reducing tool that's pretty good in terms of maintaining quality. Posterize sucks.
