In addition to Chain Mode (which is wonderful) Could there be a mode that fixes one territory, then every territory you click connects from there? That would be wonderful.

This was actually the behavior I was hoping for from the non-chain 'connect multiple' feature tom added, but I let it slide since he'd been rocking my socks off in so many other ways. But as long as its been asked for, I'll second the motion.
I agree.
Fourthed.

I'll complete the quintet.
Ah ok gotcha, yes that should be doable. Any ideas as to what to call the new mode? Tether mode?
Spoke mode

I like Tether. Spoke, Hub, Anchor, and Point are all probably suitable as well.
Ooh, I like Anchor Mode.
I like tether mode.
I like anchor mode. Ray mode makes sense or something along those lines.
i like Hub but Anchor is good too
I also like Pivot mode.
Any progress on this mode?
No not yet - it will happen though.
Can we also perhaps get the ability to layer borders? For example, suppose I want to a border that is both view-only and fortify-only. Currently, fortify-only doesn't grant vision to territories you don't already control. Not sure how this would work with the game engine, exactly, but it's causing some confusion in my Ancient Isles of Kjeldor map, http://www.wargear.net/boards/designer/306, where the shrines don't grant vision to their immediate neighbor territories.
