You can end early except on the final day of your vacation - as you have already consumed a vacation day at this point there's no value in you cancelling anyway.
As I've turned off the restriction on joining games during vacations, there's no negative impact to this either.
AFAIK: You can no longer end your vacation early on the last day of the vacation. If the scheduled end is one or more days away, you get the Cancel option and using it ends the vacation at midnight that day.
Edit: Sorry, didn't notice there was a page 2 where Tom had already answered.
Tom,
I hate to bring up an old and dissected topic, but there actually still is a negative impact to not being able to cancel on the last day.
If you set vacation to a day extra (as suggested to double check not getting skipped) that means the day you come back and take turns, you can join games yes, but not start games.
Today, is last day of my stated and set vacation but today I have nothing to do but sit in front of a screen (all day). I can join... but not create. A lightning game would be great to kill time. I can distinctly see why I cannot create while still on vacation (especially a lightning game) but that leaves me with... just watching people do dumb stuff on Youtube.
Can we reconsider?
Good point - I've removed that restriction as well. There shouldn't be any downside to being on vacation now.

Oh come on! There is so much more to the internet then Wargear and Youtube! Surely you can find something else to do. :)
Of course playing Wargear should be the #1 activity!
please please show me some good sites!

Thanks Ozy for that rabbit hole. finally was able to close that tab.
i find reddit to be a pain (and a time suck) because you have to filter thru so much crap to see anything good.
It's all about finding (and subscribing to) the good communities. I can imagine it would be a daunting task for someone new to reddit, but I've been there 6+ years, so I've evolved along with it. It's almost better to have 2 accounts there. One for trivial time wasting for when you have a bit of time to kill, and another for more serious stuff. If you have particular interests, you can find some good stuff. For example, I'm subscribed to several parenting communities, guitar communities, and science and programming communities. They generally have good on-topic posts. If you just go to /r/pics or /r/funny or something there's going to be a lot of variation in quality.
