Joined a while ago but getting more active in playing. Curious as to how you get championship points.

It could use a little cleanup, but I think it's basically correct.  You can also look in the forum for an absolutely ridiculously huge discussion about potentially changing it to something else.

Basically, you need to get into the top 10 and have a score of at least 1050 on a map to get championship points.  Easiest way to do that is find a map that doesn't have a ton of action, that you actually like playing.  Then play a couple of private games on it (feel free to invite me), then once you have it figured out start playing public games on it.
