Hello:  I am playing on the Civil War by Viper board and it indicates that 'the Union' is worth a certain number of points.  What is 'The Union'?  I'm guessing it is when you own particular states but if so, which ones?

Good Question. I believe it's all 4 Blue sections in the NE, but it might include the black border section as well...

It's the northeastern quadrant of the board, defined on the minimap by all the areas in blue and black (not including the ships).

Not something to spend too much time worrying about, as if you're able to take and hold an area that large, you've likely already won the game.

1. Go to: http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Civil+War/Board%20Explorer
2. Click on the 'Continents' button.
3. A new window pops up listing all of the continents. The top one is The Union.
4. Click on The Union.
5. All territories that are part of it turn red.

There is also a board explorer in the player that works similarly. It's the button that looks like a bullet point list.
