i refreshed the page today (i've usually always got a tab up :D) and work mode went 'off'. 

went to the settings, changed back to on, saved updates and the setting reverted back to 'off'...

Could you try a couple of things - first clearing the cache from your Profile page and then if necessary deleting your WarGear cookies from your browser (or trying an alternate browser).

i've tried clearing my profile cache as well as two other browsers (so in all i've used: Chrome, IE8, FF) with no success. 

I'll try to figure out how to clear my WG cookies from Chrome.

is anyone else able to change to work mode?  when i try to update settings to 'on', the work mode resets to 'off'. 

Can you try again? It should work now, the cookies were expiring.

that worked (only thing is that when you update settings you need to get to another page to see if its working - it doesn't update that page)
