Suppose I start a real Time game that doe's not fill up with the required amount of players. How can I either cancel the game or is it possible to proceed with a reduced amount of players.
you can go to the game's info page and terminate it.
to get to the info page, open up the game and you will see something similar under the WG logo in the upper left:
Home » Games » GAME NAME » Player
click on GAME NAME and that will bring you to the game's info page.
i know we've posted this answer before with screenshots, but can't seem to find it. i'll capture one and write a wiki thread for it soon.
I've found that you can only delete games that haven't started yet if no one has joined yet. If one person has joined then it's stuck there unable to be deleted by the host or terminated by vote. If you want to delete the game my best advice is to message the players who have joined and ask them to leave so you can delete the game.
Thanks For that all. My experience is the same as AfroDaby. Problem is if a player joins then logs out what next.

Thanks I will try that. From Your reply I take it that a game can not be started with a reduced number of players.
That's my understanding. I think I remember reading another thread about that in the suggestions box, but nothing has come of it...or maybe I'm imagining reading it because I've thought about posting that suggestion myself.

no, there's not currently a way to start with reduced number than originally setup for.
