We pushed the due date for the last themed one until February, to give everyone a bit more time. If anyone thinks that would help them get a board done in time, I don't think there would be any problem with pushing it again.
I'm working on one called 'Diatoms' which are geometrically shaped microscopic plankton. It's basically an excuse to do a geometric tiling board.

I have an idea for a kelp forest board -- based on the food chain -- but will need a bit of extra time on it.
I'm working on a couple ideas. Much like the historic battle maps begged for some movement restriction, most of my ideas for this theme could really use more fog control.

i'm going to start with a really basic scenario, but i have ideas for a much more but i'll definitely use some help on factory game mechanics. i'd definitely be interested in teaming up with someone if they want to a really kick ass board with me. when we win, we can split the $$ :^)

fyi - I don't think there is any requirement for any specific order for territories or continents in the xml.
You can check xml syntax online:

couple different factories at work:
#1 (the easy one): capture two specific territories and activate a trophy. get all 4 trophies you win.
#2: eliminate player if there are more than 2 territories on the board and
#3: Give the player 3 more units if they have 0 on the board.
