hi all
The server went down again this morning and has now been recovered.
I'll be reviewing the game lists for any games impacted by incorrect boots or skips.
I've also started work on migrating to a new server which should hopefully resolve the problems we've been having with downtime and instability. The goal is to migrate to the new server next week.

This is great news. It's been frustrating, because the outages/slowdown have been coming at prime wargear time for me (i.e. between my daughter's bedtime and mine).
I do appreciate everyone being with me on this - it's been pretty painful for everyone!
New higher spec server - twice as many CPU cores and memory + some tweaking of the database structure and caching should hopefully make for a much better overall experience!
great news!
Horrible lag at the moment. So glad you're finally getting rid of that TRS-80.
P.S. for Millennials: That large black box-shaped thing isn't a mouse. There is no mouse. That is the power supply. It was about half the size of a brick, but weighed twice as much.
That is hilarious, Camel! I had one and vividly remember playing donkey kong via cassette tape

I have fond memories of using the power brick on my Atari ST as a foot warmer on cold nights. (ST was an impressive machine for the time because it came with an *entire megabyte of RAM*). Can you believe it!
I didn't have a TRS-80 but my school had just bought 3 (that was all they could afford) before I graduated. I recall the first time I played Star Trek on an Apple IIe. The graphics were just ASCII text... but they were in COLOR!
I was mesmerized. Drugs were nothing compared to a color computer.
