The special character I in this board is messing up some links.
When selecting the board in the "Join Game" Screen it pulls this web address and hangs
But when selecting the board from the game page
It loads it - note the different web address
The first link is url encoded and the name of the folder probably is not, causing a mismatch. I've had those kind of problems when building the board rankings page, I tried url encoding both the name of the folders and the name of the links and didn't work in some cases either so I simply opted to use the board id's for the name of the folders and the links.
I think this board had similar problems:

I'm not sure if Tom had to specially handle it, or if he updated the site code to be more general, but might be similar.
Curious that one works, I wasn't able to, either with encoding or not. I immediately had problems with Antastic! and the likes when I tried full url encoding.
Right. Not that one couldn't just create a new version of the board and then rename it and then retire the original. However, doing so would screw the rankings system up.
Tried it. I can't rename the copy.
Ok, that's what I did. I made a new board instead of a new version. 2 games had opened, but not started. I left a message. Anybody wanna hop on and pass the copy?
I've renamed the old board as well - there is a URL encoding function in place so it should work (and does work for regular characters such as quotes and double quotes), however it doesn't seem to handle non-English characters very well.
Sorry Nygma. I didn't word it very well, but I indeed was alluding to the creation of a new board from the originsl copy. An additional issue, as you're seeing, is having to re-submit for review. I would hope the board would simply be quickly passed in that type of situation.
So... should I revive the retired game or just let the new one through?
I approved the new board. I think we are set here.
