There's a board currently up for review where the designer has invited seven players. A quick look at the list of reviewers and I doubt it will fill. So I have a couple of suggestions/requests.
First, Tom can you cull names from the list of members who are no longer active?
Second, I'm pretty sure we're gonna need some additional reviewers. I am not a moderator or anything like that. I'm just a member, so I have no say in the matter of who reviewers are. It's entirely Tom's call. Regardless, I'm going to take the bull by the horns here and ask for a few current members to step up and offer to be reviewers (in this thread, or in an PM to tom or whatever).
Design experience isn't a necessary requirement to be a reviewer, however it does help because a significant percentage of boards that are offered for review are often not ready for prime-time (some don't even work) and it is often necessary to give designers a little constructive "guidance." Honesty is necessary as well (there are a number of standards, some more objective than others), so criticism often needs to be tempered with sensitivity. Very few first boards are flawless. Heck, granted my boards tend to be of the complex variety, but even after a good amount of Dev play, most every one of the boards I have submitted still has had missing borders and/or broken factories etc.
Currently, Wargear does have a good complement of boards, but there are VERY FEW active designers, so it's very important that we do everything we can to support and encourage those who are looking to contribute as designers.
I'd be happy to join the reviewers.

You can add me as well.
