I shared these pics not too long ago on facebook, and thought i'd share here as well:

These are stats I used to keep back when I was even more of a die-hard risk enthusiast (can you imagine that? ;)
The 2nd and 3rd photos show my system for rankings. Every game would assign as many points as there were players, minus 1. So in a two person game you could get 1 point out of 1, in a 5 person game, winning would give you 4 points out of 4, being 2nd place would give you 4 points out of 5, etc.
And I would keep track of the cumulative scores. The 4th column for each game (again 2nd and 3rd photos) lists the updated ranking for each player (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc), based on all possible points earned (1st column) and updated percentage (2nd and 3rd columns) for current and previous games.
I then plotted it out in a graph, but the graph was not very intuitive in showing who was where in the rankings. I was going to try to plot it differently, and never got around to it.
Fun memories from many years ago....
Nice :)
Have you kept in touch with the others?
This is pretty impressive
That's alot of RISK - very cool -
Thanks guys :)
Litotes: I've tried convincing several of my friends and cousins to join WGW, but none has taken the bait so far. One friend actually created an account here, but never played a game. I'll keep trying, but I realize that most of them are either too busy or don't care for playing games anymore, or maybe they still like them, but only in person with their buddies. But an in person game for me is rarely feasible, specially given how spread out I am geographically from people I grew up with, and the marathonic quality of risk
I also have tried to pass the love of this site on to various friends/relatives/coworkers. a couple have played a little but it didn't last -
And yet, we have new friendships here :)
I have actually met one guy by video (we are both interpreters), and I have connected with several of you by facebook, linkedin and other social media.
It's cool to develop new friendships over a wide geographic area, I hope I get to meet you guys in person someday
