Hey folks, shot in the dark here.
As the title states we have a situation where a player failed to join a tourney game in time and after 1 day it resolved to ending the game and marking the joined player as the winner.
Is there any way to reset that match?
I have strong feeling this is a no but wanted to see in the attempt to preserve the integrity of the larger tournament.
Thanks folks.

Argh. I lost my (well-thought-out) post :-)
In a nutshell, Tom could probably do the reset if it was deemed fair and appropriate.
If the failure to join the tourney in time was due to some site-related issue that prevented the player from joining, Tom might very well restart the game for fairness.
If the failure to join was the player's "error", then it gets dicier ...
There are currently paths to victory for three players -- you, General Biosis, and Lordlipstick.
The decision to reset the game would directly impact the paths to victory for GeneralBiosis and Lordlipstick. As such, I would guess that, at minimum, you would have to have their agreement before Tom would consider doing a reset.
In *either* case, the best place to deal with this would be in a PM to Tom to get the ball rolling, since he's likely to see that faster than a posting here.
The game was created several days after the WG down time.
In this case, the boot was certainly fair, and there should be no reason to reset that match.
If you and the other player both ask Tom to reset the game he likely will, but it requires both.

Yes I agree with this notwithstanding any other reason for a reset!
That's a tough way to lose a tournament, for sure. However, there are many tough luck ways to lose a tournament in head to head action.
I guess I'll add this to my . . . reasons to decide against 1-day tournaments. :)
Good luck in the next one, bobthefish.
thanks all!
