I believe another stats/ranking recalc is needed.

IIRC, it has been a while since the last recalc, and a lot of stats have diverged.

• For example, my ranking in player stats and ranking history is 100+ apart. I’ve seen a few players where the difference is 500+
• Several h2h are quite skewed. For instance, my h2h page against Charlemagne says we have played 23 games against each other. But their profile page says that I have played 2307 games against them!
• Off late, I have noticed several “double counted” games upon surrenders (both in my favour when my opponent surrenders and against me when I surrender)
• We have likely had a few multi-account bans since the last recalc too.

Charlemagne's H2Hs - as well as Babbalouie's - are not affected by recalcs. At least they survived the last ones.

Some of the more glaring differences in rankings have also survived recalcs. Just look at Atkins. Atkins has a global ranking of 1768, and according to ranking history he's on 6076. The two separated wildly upon the banning of a cheater with multiple double accounts. His delta is calculated by the global, not the ranking history, so they never get any closer to each other and he stays in the high 5000s or low 6000s. It's been this way for years. Is it possible to address this?

This is because the tags need to be updated. I have access to that, but it is not working for me. (it has been a while since I tried.)

tom - when I click "update" after changing the tags I get this.

@Amidon37: They are populated now. However, it took many tries to get them to 'stay' as favorites. Now they seem to have taken as favorites, but they don't sort/view as favorites on my board list page.

jgreenwood undoubtedly had the same experience as Atkins, mentioned above. A big plus upon reassigning games played by banned players, that only "took" on the ranking history and not on the public ranking. Now delta follows his public ranking and ranking history will thus remain exceptionaly high.

This is an interesting case. I recall my H2H with both of them was messed up for a long time. But now, my H2H stats with Babbalouie are normal.

However, those with Charlemagne remain messed up.

Which probably means that upon one of the last recalc's somehow the issue with Babba's account was sorted, but not that with Charem's (and a few others)

This was the same result for me as well, B's became normal and C's were still wacked.

Ah, yes, true. Hadn't noticed. My H2H with babbalouis is down to normality as well. But it was odd for more than one recalc. Maybe there's hope for the Charlemagne one as well.

However, I think the recalc did not work.

Either it did not finish, or it was interrupted.

It appears that the last 2 years or so (November 2021 onwards) have not been counted.

yep, some ranking points seem to have completely disappeared.

But I have full confidence in you! ;)

I went from 260 to 179 championship points, so something is missing.

Atkins' ranking history still show him in the 6000s and jgreenwoods in the 8000s so that wasn't fixed either.

And my H2H with Charlesdale is still weird.

My H2H with Babbalouie held up, though, so however I lost 81 championship points do not appear to have influenced that one.

tom's post in the other thread was made after post #15 above, so he has restarted something.

jgreenwood's ranking history does not appear to have been affected by the recalc.

I've run into a couple of issues with the reindex which I'm working through so it's not done yet :)
