Yellow loses the capital in Capetown, but then regains it. But the game engine doesn't seem to count it as a capital anymore, because yellow is then eliminated when green takes DC.

This was a Dev game that got restarted, so maybe that messed it up somehow?
If this was a fluke, that's fine it was just a dev game. I just want to make sure the rules are working as expected.

In the new scenario Cape Town just doesn't count as a capital, in any game I've been in.

It's too bad we can no longer see the Designer for others' boards with the demise of Flash. Currently you can't check for capitals on the explorer page, right? Maybe Tom could add the ability to see capitals there.

Thank you litotes! I'm not sure what/how this happened, but it looks clearly like Cape Town is no longer a capital on that map.
M57 - You can see it in the "in-game explorer", but not the regular explorer. For example, go here:

Use the menu to navigate to the board explorer, and then mouse over the capital territories. If they are a capital they will say "[Capital]" in the territory name tool-tip.
But I agree it should be in the main board explorer.
