my premium expired and the page that it takes you to (http://www.wargear.net/player/premium) doesn't do anything when you click the "Buy Now" button.

I was going to PM you about this, but PMing is a premium...:^D

so i tried getting there from different places in the Settings (originally thought there was an update to the settings which turned my work mode off accidently) to no avail. I posted this thread and went to make some moves and clicked the link from the Info tab in a game and that link worked. Don't know the difference between them, but the info one worked (maybe cus it popped it to a new screen?) and the others didn't.

Works for me. Settings > Account and click Buy Now. Worked for me a couple days ago when I bought a year membership, too.
