Most every action on the site has been very slow to be recognized the past day for me. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm a man.it's been kinda slow for me; but i think my whole internet has been too, so don't know if it's just me or the site. Hasn't been terribly egregious tho.
But I can change,
if I have to,

Boards load reasonably quickly. Attacks//fortifies are very slow

Very slow for me too, a single attack or transfer can take 10 seconds

I'm also having trouble creating games. I can select boards, but can't input a game name.

From old threads, it seems like this happens occasionally. Don't remember how long these episodes lasted or how they were resolved.

I am relieved that I found this thread, as I thought I could be the only one experiencing it. And just as Spider mentioned, we can get some strange (I would even say undesirable) results if we don't wait for orders to complete (e.g. placing, transferring and even attacking wrong territories).

In multi-day turn games, why not just wait for them to complete? Sure, it's a pain, but isn't it worth it?

It *is* worth it (I found that out the hard way when I refreshed my page while waiting to complete my transfer after a successfuly attack -- after about 5 minutes I was unsure if I had hung. The refresh undid my successful attack and I had to try again, and failed miserably. Lost the game for me. Alas)
That being said, given that there is no way to tell if it's hung or just slow, one could conceivably wait forever :-). And in a real-time game (like the one I refreshed), that's a boot.
